Passover

The very few people who read this might be wondering what I have been up to…This month I have been to the gym – 15 times and have lived to tell the tale of Passover. You would be surprised how much the gym (which I  love ) takes time out of other activities, but alas ten pounds lighter I am taking it in a good way.

Passover was good because it gave me the chance to have eggs for dinner twice in 8 days and it made me bring veggies and cheese in for lunch. I even followed the no meat and cheese rule. Go me.  I know you are so impressed. And I got to eat honey matzoh and regular matzoh with a variety of things. It’s incredible what hunger makes you put on it really. Nutella and melted cheese were my two favorite toppings. Despite eating all this cheese you will be happy to know that I lost two pounds during passover alone.

I started running in March. Started by running on the track at the Y. Doing 1 walking lap for every 2 running. Now I can do 8 laps running ,walk 2 and run another 8 before getting on the elliptical. I am pretty happy with my progress and by the end of the week I am hoping to be able to do 1 k and a half walk 2 laps run another 1 1/2 and then next week try to aim for 2 k all at once. I am optimistic.

I will post later about what I have been reading and watching. I have been reading a whole lot more but that could be the quality of the books!? I have so many books on my shelf that are to be read and not already read that I have told myself I am not allowed to buy anymore until I read almost all of them – eep!
